With the exception of a more flexible Nursery option, the school runs as a full day program with the benefit of a variety of after-school and enrichment options on offer, which vary each term.
Morning drop off starts from 8.15 am – 8.40 am, and ends at 3.20 pm for the Early Years and Lower School children and 3.30pm for Middle and Upper School students.
We know how busy life in New York gets and so where possible we aim to offer as much help as we can in making the timings of the school day work for you. From an early Breakfast club from 7.45 am to a Late Club that runs through 5.30 pm, you can relax knowing your children are happy and engaged as they top and tail their school day. Upper School students can access the hub until 5:30 pm with permission of the teacher on duty.
We also offer a variety of After School Programs at extra cost, which vary each term and offered to suit the age and interests of your children. After School and Extended day options end at 4:30 pm or 5 pm.
At BIS-NY we offer both half-day and full-day options for children entering the school at Nursery and recognize these critical first steps and the importance for some families in managing the transition into full day school.
