Girl Scouts make some new furry friends!
The BISNY Girl Scouts visited "Boris and Horton" in Alphabet City yesterday afternoon. This is Manhattan's first ever dog cafe. There we had an education session from Foster Dogs NYC www.fosterdogsnyc.com and learnt why it is important to "adopt before you shop" and why fostering is a great idea for people who can't commit full-time to dog ownership. We did of course get to make some new fury friends too!
The girls donated $200 of their hard-earned cookie money to the charity.
