Fall approaches our Urban Garden, presenting a great research opportunity for our students.
There's nothing like some fresh air and communing with the plants and fruits before the winter chill takes hold. Fall arrived in the BIS-NY garden in a timely fashion, shortly after Year 4 had spent some time turning it into a pumpkin patch! Once the planting was done and the garden was looking fabulous again, it was time to do some research on their methods and the new season of plants and fruits for the autumn. The whole school took great pleasure in enjoying the fruits of their labor!
